Become A Delegate

Are you a Wenatchee Valley resident and curious about being an ambassador to Japan?

This is your invitation to apply for a unique experience as a Sister City delegate! You’ll visit Tokyo and Misawa, be immersed in Japanese culture, stay in the home of a host family, and represent the Wenatchee Valley, all while creating memories and relationships that will last a lifetime! Each delegation typically includes local dignitaries, business leaders, teachers, and student ambassadors who spend 2-3 days in Tokyo and 5-6 days in Misawa.

The approximate cost is $2,500 per delegate (subject to change annually).
Applications for student ambassadors are open to current 7th-12th grade students from Wenatchee and East Wenatchee schools. Scholarships are in development and may be available.
